Absolute nightmare. STAY AWAY!
I went here for basic cleaning and to check on two slightly sensitive teeth that they were not in significant pain by any means. In about 30 minutes, he performed what he told me were two full-blown root canals. I left and no follow up was scheduled. Never received a call back. I assumed I was all taken care of.
A month and a half later I'm brushing my teeth and I noticed cotton sticking out of my tooth, but I began to pull and it was completely infected and what was under. It was a huge hole in my tooth that wasn't there previously. At this point, I had already developed an infection, had no idea what was going on because he gave me no instruction that I need to come back for a crown or a full root canal.
I went back and once I was there, they informed me that they didn't actually do two root canals. They did two "half root canals" they ultimately did not need and by half root canals he drilled massive holes into my teeth, stuffed them with cotton and never told me I needed to come back. Luckily, I had a friend who was a dentist who informed me this was an emergency because now with these two open holes, I was very prone to the infection getting worse quickly. I called them, went in, expecting them to fix whatever was wrong only to learn that they never been good to root canals. All they did was throw those massive clothes in my teeth and stuff with cotton. Then he told me I had no option because of what he did, but to due to root canals and to do crowns on my teeth. According to him though, insurance denied this because it wasn't necessary. However, when I ask for the insurance denial letter I was told by the staff that it's illegal to show a patient their own medical records, including insurance, denial letters. They then started laughing at me and then handed me a piece of paper for nearly $7000 to fix it.
I went to custom smiles the next day and they did a fantastic job, but I am in shock at this place is still in practice. I plan to file a formal complaint and initiate an investigation into his practice.
